Spring Break!

Oh wait... I don't actually celebrate Spring Break anymore. Weird. My mom does though, so I took a few days off work and we headed to Redmond to stay with our beloved Denneys. While we were there we ate good food, went for a beautiful walk, relaxed, and talked wedding talk. Mallorie is getting married in less than two weeks!!

After Redmond I got to spend time with friends at Bushwhackers and hang out in the sun eating good food with good friends. Got to enjoy Easter with my family too!

Even though this is my first year where I don't technically have a Spring Break I still got to take some time off work and hang with family and friends. 2 day countdown to Hawaii!!! Just getting the last odds and ends figured out. Mom and Dad got me a Starbucks gift card and a Cheesecake Factory gift card for Easter so I can take it to Hawaii. Just ready to be on the sandy beaches!

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter. I hope you took the time to let the day sink in, and to consider why it is we celebrate Easter. It's not just about egg hunts and baskets. It's about a man named Jesus who knew that our world was infected with disease called sin. Jesus had to put an end to it, and so he died on a cross to put the end to it all. The catch is, 3 days later he ROSE AGAIN. We celebrate Easter because it is the day that Jesus rose from the grave. He IS the Messiah.

Love and Spring Breaks...
